Best home care is a specialized senior living community that serves the changing needs of our residents by offering a continuum of living options. The focus of each day is always on enhancing the lives of each and every resident.
The fundamentals of our program include structured daily routines featuring stimulating interaction and resident participation coupled with personalized assistance with the activities of daily living. Each resident's strength and abilities are maximized by providing activities that allow for success and personal accomplishment.
Daily routines and schedules are planned to provide purpose that focuses energy and anxiety into meaningful participation while minimizing wandering and restlessness. Our program can adapt to the changing needs of our residents by providing the additional hands-on care and support required by residents in latter stages of their diagnostic. Activities and stimulation are scaled to appropriate lengths of time and abilities based on the resident's changing endurance and ability to communicate and participate. In the later life stages hospice care may also be utilized to assist the resident and the family with the end stages of a progressive disease.
Our program features structured activities designed to maintain the highest possible functioning level of each resident while enhancing their self-esteem. The schedule is a balanced menu of quiet, memory-exercising activities, creative craft workshops and stimulating movement that utilizes large motor skills.
PRE-ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Prior to move-in, a current physician's report is prepared along with an assesment from our administrator. Following a review of the physician's report and assesment. A care level is established along with a move-in date and an appointment to sign the admission agreement.
Best Home Care program is a month-to-month program which requires a 30 days notice prior to moving out.
Best Home Care is licensed as a residential care assisted living community and is not covered by medicare, medi-cal (medicaid) or ssi programs.
